Integrative Nutrition and Diet

Integrative nutrition is a complementary approach to food that recognizes there is no single perfect or universal diet. Each person responds differently to food based on their health status, metabolism, medical history, environment, and lifestyle.
From this perspective, food is not approached as a "standard recipe," but as a personalized and flexible process that can be adapted to different life stages and health situations. What may be beneficial for one person may not necessarily be beneficial for another. Integrative nutrition combines the knowledge of conventional nutrition with a holistic view of the human being, taking into account factors such as food quality and origin, eating habits and schedules, stress and sleep levels, digestive and metabolic health, the emotional relationship with food, and more. Within this approach, there are different dietary models that can be used on a case-by-case basis or adapted to individual needs, always under professional supervision.
It is important to emphasize that no single diet is suitable for everyone or every situation. Integrative nutrition does not promote fad diets, but rather a conscious and safe adaptation of food to each individual.
In an integrative therapeutic context, nutrition is used as a tool to support well-being, complementing other integrative medicine approaches and always respecting conventional medical treatments, without replacing them.

Integrative nutrition is based on scientific evidence, but at the same time has a holistic view of health, considering the person as a whole: body, mind and environment.

Beyond focusing solely on food and nutrients, this approach also addresses key aspects of lifestyle, prioritizing the consumption of natural and minimally processed foods, and seeking to identify the origin of imbalances that can affect health, rather than just treating the symptoms.

At our center, integrative nutrition is combined with other biotherapies to support prevention processes, improve well-being, and provide support in various health conditions, always respecting the pace and needs of each individual.
